Can Keyboard Maestro app switcher be modified to open files by drag & drop?

I recently read that the macOS app switcher [⌘ ⇥] can open files. If you select a file, invoke the switcher you can then drag the file onto the app and it opens, just as it would be dragging onto an app in the Dock.

This looks quite useful; but I've noticed that the Keyboard Maestro app switcher can't do this. Does anyone know a way to modify the Keyboard Maestro app switcher to allow file opening too?

TIA

Hey Jasper,

I believe there's no way to do this.

But you can toggle the application palette on/off, and it supports drag and drop.

See the Toggle Applications Palette action.

Thanks Chris—I'd had the Applications Palette turned off until now; but, yes, you can drag to it to open files.
