I don't know where I macro is and a search box or autocomplete will be really useful.
That way I don't have to close the existing macro to search for the macro I want to execute.

You can’t have a search or autocomplete facility within a popup menu. So to do that would require a different UI entirely for selecting the macro, and I’m not sure what other UI would work better than a popup menu even if it allowed search/autocomplete.
I’ll look in to it, but no promises on this one.
How about a top menu with “all macros”? then we can search alphabetically.
