Can you have more than one palette on your screen showing at one time?

Super new to KM and i am confused on how to use it more. I use it for very basic things right now.

I want to have a menu of macros that is per application, but I also use some global macros that display on my global palette. Can you not have one palette show global macros while an application specific palette showing those macros pertinent to the frontmost app?

Yes, you can have more than one palette on the screen at once, including the global palette and app-specific palettes. See the Palettes entry at the KM wiki for more information, and feel free to post again if you have any specific questions on setting them up.
