New to KM and this is my first attempt of doing something useful. Trying to trigger the focus point plugin in Adobe Lightroom Classic. Thanks
I don't have Adobe, so I can't test your macro, and I'm not the sharpest guy on this forum, but I have some ideas. (Perhaps one of the real wizards on this site can spot the issue more quickly.)
One thing you might want to do is check for more information in the KM Engine error log. You can open the folder for the log files from the Help Menu in the KM Editor ("Open Logs Folder"). Near the end of the log file you may see an important error message that might give you a clue as to why it did nothing. You can tell us what it says, if anything, about why it didn't work.
It might also help a little if you uploaded the macro instead of just taking a screen shot. For example, if your Select Action had extra spaces at the end, which might cause this problem, we could spot that mistake. But we can't spot certain kinds of errors with just a screenshot.
P.S. The Type action at the end of your macro may not be needed. I thought that the Select Menu by Name action essentially triggered the menu.
hi and welcome @hahacky !
Have you tried using the Select or Show a Menu Item action instead?
Read about it in the wiki here action:Select or Show a Menu Item [Keyboard Maestro Wiki]
BTW - you shouldn't need to type the return afterwards.
I use ALC but I don't have that plugin - which I see is pretty ancient - so I can't test.
Give it a shot and see how you get on.
