I'm using KM 11.0.3 on Sequoia 15.3.2.
If I create a calendar event in the calendar app, then when I start typing the location name a list of suggested locations pops up like this:
If I select the location I want from the list then a map of the location is displayed in the event, and the location is linked to the maps app, so I can click on it, maps opens and I can get directions. This is helpful if using car play for example; I can open the calendar on the car's screen, see where the appointment is and click on it to take me directly to maps to navigate to the location. It looks like this:
I can (and do) create events using the KM action "Create Calendar Event", which works really well, except that the location created is not a live link, even if the address entered is identical to the one created when selecting from the list in the previous example. For example, if I set up the KM action like this (note that the Location field contains line feeds, but it only shows one line):
then the resulting event looks like this; there's no map of the location as there is when the event is manually created.
I'd like it if creating the calendar event with the KM action could establish a location link in the event, as can be done when manually creating the calendar entry. I suspect this may be a limitation of the API KM uses to create calendar events, but I thought I'd ask here in case anyone can tell me that I'm doing something wrong or can suggest a workaround.
