Changing the keys for brightness

Hi

I just downloaded the Quickshade app to control the brightness of 2 monitors at once (the normal brightness keys only work for 1 monitor). It works well, but i would stilll like to control the brightness with the built in brightness buttons on the keyboard (f1 and f2) and i am only able to program it so that a different keyboard shortcut controls brightness. Is there any way to program my mac so that the brightness keys can control this app (controlling the brightness) instead of the default setup?

Probably not. You could possibly Use USB Device Key triggers on the brightness keys, but then they would continue to do their normal behaviour.

Perhaps Karabiner could do this sort of low level keyboard remapping for you.
