Choosing a window from mission control.....(kind of confused)

Forgive me in advance if I'm not using the right terms here...

Alrighty. I have "select mission control with 4 finger swipe up" active. The part of this that matters isn't from the various apps in mission control but the desktop workspace assignments. Once I expose mission control, the available desktop workspaces are displayed in the top window (along with the plus symbol on the right, where you can choose a new one).

Here's what I'm after: once mission control and the desktop workspaces are displayed, I would like to click on the one that says "Google Chrome", which contains a specific window.

Where I'm stuck: I CAN'T program in a click on the window, which is what I need to do manually. For whatever reason KM won't allow me to program a click on it.

Any ideas?

That's right. Apple decided that Mission Control would not support AppleScript or have a public API for it. So KM can't work with it then.

However some people have shown some workarounds. Perhaps you might start by reading this long thread:

I'm afraid that that's a little too complicated for me to understand, but I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

I don't understand it either (i.e., I haven't read most of it.) If Mission Control was accessible to KM, I would probably use Mission Control. So the short answer is you can't use KM to work with Mission Control.
