I created the simple marco with the action "Activate Clipboard History Switcher". Trigger is a simple keystroke. My problem is: The trigger is not working. No matter which keystroke I set as the trigger. If I press play in the macro however it works all the time. I also checked if I use the same trigger for multiple macros but that is not the case.
It's possible that the reason it isn't triggering is that you have your macro in a Macro Group that has some settings that prevents it from triggering. Are you willing to show the settings of the Macro Group that this macro is stored in?
This has absolutely happened to me before, even though I've used KM for a really long time. So I agree that either 1) We should all feel stupid when this happens, or (better) 2) Laugh it off.
Since you are almost certainly going to paste something, may I suggest a hotkey combo of xxx+V is easier to remember
Mine is CTL+OPT+CMD or COC+V for short.
I also recommend putting this in the macro title e.g.
Thank you for your recommendation @jonathonl I have multiple paste macros that use v so I kind of ran out of ideas to be honest. On the other hand I am using Logitechs Creative Console instead of the actual keyboard commands. That helps a lot, especially while ramping up my library of macros.
