Command Click a Link in Firefox or Other Web Browser

I would like a macro to trigger a command click to open a link in a new tab when mouse is hovered over it. Is this possible. I would like it to work in all browsers, but especially Firefox.

Keyboard Maestro doesn't have a trigger that recognizes hovering over a link in any kind of application.

Firefox is NOT AppleScriptable, so many functions that work in Safari and/or other Chrome-based browsers won't work with it.

Your best bet is to create a macro that has either a hotkey trigger or a Device-Trigger that uses a mouse button.

I have an old Logitech G400s mouse, and the two side buttons are mapped to:

  • ⌘Click

  • ⌘W
