The macro (v1.1) still works for me with Things 3.9.2.
Probably stupid question: Is the macro and the containing macro group enabled?
Any errors in the engine log?

Oh def not a stupid question.
I have been messing around with Pallettes and I had things Things group to only be activated when the pallete was showing. Fixed that and it fixed the macro of course.
Silly me.

Confirmed still working in December 2021 with Things version 3.15.11, and macOS 12.1 (although I did have to reenable Keyboard Maestro's accessibility permissions in macOS Privacy settings after upgrading to Monterey).
