I have an issue on a 2013 Mac Pro which I am trying to isolate.
After upgrade to Catalina, periodically the system freezes for 10 seconds at a time and is not responsive to the mouse.. then all goes back to normal. This happens maybe every 20 minutes or so.
I am not certain yet but I think it happens only when KM is active and does not happen when I quit KM. Has anyone else experienced anything similar?
It seems also to occur when I go to System Preferences - so it may not be related to KM.
