Thanx to you both... This is great KM education, I will surely attempt to put all this into practice.

I would though enjoy just a bit of clarification from Airy concerning this comment:

The above example will "wait" until "MyFavoriteApp" is no longer running. Of course, KM has a condition to test "app termination" directly, but using "ps" manually has many options that KM does not have.

Please let me know if I am way off base. I presume that the ps -x refers to the terminal ps command. But here it is just text... or so I thought. How does this execute until action know that we are looking at the result of a terminal command?

You can use either "Pause Until" or "Execute Until."

You are correct, the OCR condition does not support Apple Text Recognition despite it telling you it does. I'll look in to resolving that.
