Custom Titles of Menu Bar Groups: Can I Force an Update Outside of the Configured Interval?

Since version 10 there are the macro groups, which live in the menu bar and can have a custom title there, in my case the content of a KM variable. A question about this: Is there a way to force an update of the displayed title without setting the update interval in the group settings to a few seconds? Background: The value rarely updates in my use case. But when it does, I want it to be displayed right away.

All you have to do is use a variable for the title.

Thanks, that works! My group was set to "custom title" and I somehow didn't try to toggle the option.
