Do not understand sort command behavior with Execute Shell Script Action

When the action executes the text line " 65 502 unblocked B1" has a leading space but after sort the leading space is gone, "65 502 unblocked B1". similar lines with a leading space and two digits sort as expected. any assistance is appreciated.

Click the gear icon and I expect you’ll see that Trim is enabled.

Yes, it is. why are the other lines with leading spaces not trimmed?

Did that line sort to the top? I believe Trim only removes leading and trailing spaces.
