I regularly leave my Mac running with the monitor off. Will macro's continue to be able to run & click mouse at certain points (or found images) if the display is off?
It’s often said in this forum that “if you can’t see it then neither can KM”, so I believe the answer is “No”.
Having said that it would be easy for you to test.
