Duplicate a tab in chrome

On my mac, I often go to a site in chrome, then need to duplicate that tab several times. Is there a way to set up a hotkey to do this in keyboard maestro? Thank you.

Yes, definitely. See the Select or Show a Menu Item action, like the screenshot below.

If you want, you can put this inside a Repeat action to have it duplicate however many times you want/need.

thank you, but i'm then not clear what to do. there isn't a chrome option to duplicate the tab. But maybe I'm missing the point.

EDIT: If you don't have that for some reason, you could also do this and change the repeat action to the number of duplicate tabs you want:

There should be, every major browser has a duplicate tab option. Check the menu that @evanfuchs screenshotted for you.
