Easy way to set clipboard to a permanent value (like an image / picture)? As a Named Clipboard?

I read in the wiki:
"Named Clipboards allow you to permanently store clipboard contents (like images or styled text) that can later be used to place on the System Clipboard"

1.) So that means permanent like when i Shut down the mac and starts it the day after that named clipboard will be there righ?

2.) How to quickly set the clipboard to a permantly named clipboard like the name "1" with a picture in that clipboard?
