Evernote Web Clipper Macros.kmmacros (306 KB)

Crude macros to open the Evernote Web Clipper in both Safari and Chrome and to click its “Save” button.

There are comments all over the web seeking Web Clipper shortcuts, but apparently none exist. I don't know how to activate an extension without clicking. So, these use Found Image actions and might prove too brittle.

I’m not entirely sure about Safari, but I know in Chrome you can change keyboard shortcuts for most extensions, Evernote Web Clipper included. Just goto Menu > More Tools > Extensions. Then scroll all the way to the bottom, click Keyboard Shortcuts and then look for Evernote.

Now, where you may run into issues (and need a macro) is some keyboard shortcuts will not work in Chrome, such as function keys or globals.

Thanks for sharing that. As long as I've used Chrome, was not aware of this cool feature.

The Evernote Clipper itself will allow you to set shortcut keys.

Goto Chrome > Window > Extensions > Evernote Web Clipper, and click on "Options".
Then click on "Keyboard Shortcuts":
