Is it possible to exclude strings for matching in smart group criteria (such as “does not contain”)? v. 8
You can use minus/negative to mark "not matching".
However since smart groups show all macros that match any entry, you need to add the -whatever to each.

Thanks. I wanted make a group determined by modifier keys in key triggers. I didn’t realize that I needed to put both match string and exclusion string in the same token.
Example: Shortcuts triggered by ctrl-shift-cmd
t:⌃⇧⌘ -t:⌥
