the second execute shell script action gives a blank line followed by a line with a 0 error code. not sure why the action does not echo the 3 lines in collection. Is the variable formatted correctly in the action?

By default the Execute a Shell Script action includes all variables, but your action is configured to only include the Var3 variable.
Configure it to include the c1 variable (or All Variables).
