[Feature Request] Alert For Missing keyboardMaestroSync.kmsync File

I was cleaning up dropbox and moved my KM folder, after which I got MANY system error beeps but no popup/alert that KM couldn’t find/was looking for the keyboardMaestroSync.kmsync file.

You can duplicate this behavior by temporarily renaming keyboardMaestroSync.kmsync’s parent folder, then trying to edit a macro.

Can we get an alert for future-me who will probably make this mistake again?

I agree that would be helpful.

In the meantime, did you check the KM Engine log?
~/Library/Logs/Keyboard Maestro/Engine.log
(available from KM app Help menu, but that might not be available if KM isn't running).
