Hi @peternlewis,

Is it possible to set the Display Text Window Not to remember Position and Size?

Usage:
For some macros, I'd like the display text window to show up at a fixed place with a fixed size, this is possible with the plugin:

What I'd like to have is to ask KM not to remember this position and size, because this position and size is only intended for that macro. Is it possible?

Nope. There is no way to do that.

How does KM remember the last position and size? If it is stored in a variable/token or the like, could you allow us to manually set its value? Of course, you could also add a default value if users mess up with the value.

In v10, you can configure where the window will appear, but not stop the position being remembered.

It is stored in the com.stairways.keyboardmaestro.editor system preference file I believe.

Thanks again, Peter. But I don't find anything close to the position and size of the display text window there.

this is great. With this feature I probably don't need the feature I'm asking for in the OP.
