I encourage you to check the SF Symbols Topic.
There I mentioned two Applications that you can use to copy every SF Symbol as Unicode Text. I also mentioned which Apple Developer Fonts should be installed on your Mac to be able to use them in texts.
Edit: because of the fact that SF Symbols aren’t rendered without installing the Fonts I mentioned, this Feature Request will never be implemented by Peter (@peternlewis) - unless he would make it explicitly an Expert Feature, where he also mentions the installation of the required Fonts from Apple before you are even able to enable this Feature and use it.
