I would love to be able to edit a macro in its own window, without the Groups and Macros sidebar. It'd be great to be able to View > Hide Groups and View > Hide Macros, like so many apps do. I find the sidebars take up a lot of screen real estate, particularly when I'm editing multiple, related Macros.

Should anyone be interested, I whacked out a quick AppleScript to do the best currently possible approximation of what I want.
