"Forbidden" sign over KM icon in notification in Ventura

Hi!
I've just updated to Ventura, and KM (ver 10.2) seems to work just fine except for the notifications sent through the "Display text" action, that show a forbidden sign on top of the KM icon, like this
CleanShot 2023-01-30 at 11.45.02

I've only seen this kind of sign when an application is not compatible with the system, but I don't think that's the case.
Anyone knows how to get rid of the sign?

Thanks,
Francesco

Hey Francesco,

Sounds like Keyboard Maestro got translocated – or the app's quarantine bit wasn’t removed when it got updated.

  • Download the latest Keyboard Maestro app again.
  • Quite the Keyboard Maestro Editor and the Keyboard Maestro Engine.
  • Delete the old app.
  • Manually move the new app into place.
  • Restart the Keyboard Maestro Editor.

If you still see that no-go symbol then run the Interactive Help from the Keyboard Maestro Editor's Help Menu.

Hi @ccstone, thanks!
That – plus a Mac reboot – did the trick.

Thanks,
Francesco

I had the same issue with a couple of other apps - and as you noted, rebooting resolved it.
