I've created a macro that forwards mail to my assistant. It works great but the one thing I'd like to improve is remove the forwarding block of text apple mail always adds to the top of the email.
The only idea I have for this is to copy the entire email to the clipboard and then use one of the clipboard filters to remove that segment of text. Not sure if this is possible but i don't see any other way.
All ideas welcome.

This might work better as a mail rule on your server. If I'm not mistaken most decent mail servers will forward the email with little to no changes if done from the server. It's also possible that this doesn't help you if you'd prefer to choose emails to send to your assistant
If you are wanting to forward the message so that it looks like the original message you received, then you need to use Redirect instead of Forward:
