Here are a couple of palettes set up to function as app window toolbar buttons for various object manipulations in Apple's Freeform app as the app has minimal toolbar functionality.
There's nothing fancy within the macros as they are all either menu section or type a keystroke actions. The fun and perhaps utility in sharing this is saving the time to do the icon lookups within SF Symbols and elsewhere to get something like this setup.
These are setup with the items, colors, sizing, and organization that I prefer and can easily be adjusted to taste.
this is rather smashing. I use freeform a good bit, and have been irritated by its underdeveloped interface. could you guide me towards a way to keep the palette positioned at the top of the screen?
This is the best option if it works for you. I’ve found it sometimes unreliable and simply keep windows in the same place alleviating most of the need to reposition palettes. If this works you need not go further.
This plug-in may still work to “Reposition a Keyboard Maestro Palette” I’ve used it when I have two fixed positions to move between and the sticky option didn’t work. I found Plug-in actions a bit tricky to initially setup. One of the links in the list below is someone working this out.
I took the opportunity of your question to look around the forum to see if anything has come up about this topic. Here’s more about it in no particular order if you want to explore:
