Growl is configured and enabled. Is there something I am missing?
I hit the "try" button or I run the macro the the growl message is never displayed

Okay so I have bartender installed and decided not to show the Growl icon on the menubar. As it turns out, Growl was paused and I didn’t notice. You can’t see if Growl is running or not just by looking at the application, you can only see the status if you look at the menubar icon.
Decided to post this just on the off chance of someone running into the same problem.
