Hearing Protection: Avoid Sudden High Volume when wear your headset.
I find it very useful. If sometimes you wear your headset after using output speaker, the volume will be unsuitable and sudden high volume in headset may cause hearing impair. With this macro, you can avoid this dangerous case.

One thing you might consider if this is very important to you is Audio Hijack / Loopback from Rogue Amoeba. The software will allow you to create a special path for routing audio to headphones and you can add a limiter / compressor to the line.

The VERY LATEST version of SoundSource (6.0.2) from RogueAmoeba allows not only max volume per device but also output to more than one device at the same time. Well worth investigating.

Just curious, because I searched for how to output to more than one device at the same time a while ago, which of those features are new in 6.0.2? Did I miss it in my previous search or did the features finally catch up with my desires?
