Help with Drop Down List in User Prompt

Hi, in attached macro I need to hit the down arrow 4 times before I can select "Option 2". Any idea why I need to do this?

Hey Ross,

What version of macOS are you using?

And what version of Keyboard Maestro?

Your macro works perfectly fine for me on macOS Sierra with Keyboard Maestro 9.1d2.

All I have to do is hit the spacebar and one down-arrow -- or down-arrow twice.

But...

After numerous tries I have seen it jam up a couple of times...

I don't see any obvious cause for the hiccoughs.

Using macOS Catalina and latest version of 9.1 Keyboard Maestro.

Without fail on my computer, the macro requires 4 taps of the down arrow before it will move from option 1 to option 2.

Hi @layo, have you ever tried another shortcut? Cmd + D is already assigned in most of my apps (duplicate).
I left out the shortcut in my tries and had no problems with the popup and the individual options.

I also use macOS Catalina and KM Version 9.1

This is a known issue with KM Prompt for User Input Action.
Keyboard navigation of popups work fine in all other Mac apps, but for some reason do not in KM. @peternlewis has said he has been unable to fix this.

Pressing SPACE first usually allows the arrow keys to work with one or two attempts.
