Help with making Marcos with Final Cut Pro

I was wondering if someone can help me create a Marco for Final Cut Pro to make selections so what I’m looking to do is

When I’m making a selection I would like to hit the I key and it will make a range start point and when I click O it will also make a out point and automatically make that selection into a favorite.

Welcome, Brian (and Marco! ). I hope there will be an FCP expert here who can help you. In the meantime, have you made a start on a macro? If not, have a try and see how far you can go, and get back to us about any difficulties. If you are new to Keyboard Maestro, that will at least gain you essential experience and you can ask when you get stuck.
