Hi there. I've got my Mac with an ISO keyboard however I am used to the standard ASII one and this is a hell for me.
Left shift button is really small and I always stoke an adjacent one.
I want to simulate Shift with the >, < (so that this key serves as another Shift )
how can I do it with Keyboard maestro?
thanks in advance!
Hey Enrique,
You can't remap Shift with Keyboard Maestro. That's too low-level a key.
You might want to look at Karabiner Elements.
You also may want to consider creating your own keyboard layout – see Ukelele.

How unfortunate... Wish there was a way doing this with KB.
Installing an additional software just to remap one key seems redundant.
Hey Enrique,
Keyboard Maestro can't be all things to all people...
Take a look at Karabiner Elements and see what it takes to get into that low-level stuff.
Imagine how many hours it took to develop.
Peter has other fish to fry – but feel free to make a formal feature request to the support address.
I'm not at all certain everything KE does is via publicly available APIs either.
Peter won't do anything that hacks the system, and this keeps Keyboard Maestro working across many versions of macOS and generally very stable.

What if you stuck something physical across both keys to make one large key?...
Karabiner Elements can remap a keystroke to another.
