How to log all key presses

Hello everyone!
I was looking around for a way to log all key presses (so even key combos with modifiers and without necessarily being inside a text box) in order to gather some stats. Is there a way to do so with KM without manually registering countless hot key triggers?
I found this topic, but I don't think it applies, right? :thinking:

I would just google "personal keylogger Mac". You'll find products that are much more suited to what you're looking for than KM

Keyboard Maestro cannot do that.

The closest you can do with with a Typed String trigger of regex "." and not delete and not do anything. But that will not record non-typing keys like command keys.
