how can i save a file in a specific path? (usually I need to save on my desktop)
You can simply add a step to do a Shift Command G keystroke (even from a save as dialog) and it will open up a window where you can they have Keyboard Maestro type in the path such as ~/Desktop
Have fun, it is one of my favorite keystrokes, Shift-Command-G

Hey Enrico,
Save a file from what? An application?
You know that Cmd-D will select the desktop in any open/save dialog.

I think that the new default is Shift-Cmd-D. This has messed me up lately, but can probably be changed back to Cmd-D

i didn’t know that, thank you. Shift-cmd-D works fine!
