How to switch to previously active document of same app?

For example I have MindNode running and it has this window active :

I then switch to activate another window of same app :

How can I press a hotkey, to switch between these two windows quickly?

I don’t have MindNode, but does the (standard?) macOS ⌘` window switching hotkey not work there?

This hotkey never worked for me. Do you perhaps know where I can set it again?

But it cycles through all active windows. How can I just switch back and forth between the two last active?

⌘`

will go in one direction, and ⌘⇧` will go in the other. To switch back and forth between two specific windows, I don’t know :slight_smile:

Hey there nikivi, this is along the same lines as your initial question but only applies to Safari, it's a macro I made a while ago that will toggle between the last used tab is Safari, it's very useful but unfortunately is only useable within Safari (or Chrome, but this macro is only designed for Safari).
