How to time-out a macro?

Hi,
Sometimes my macros don't work entirely as I want them to, and end up running (and using a lot of CPU) in the background indefinitely. What's a quick way to make sure macros time out after a set amount of time?

Ideally, if the macro wasn't completed in x amount of seconds, it would cancel itself.

Individual actions have timeouts, found under their gear icons at the top right. Another option is to group numerous actions and add a timeout to the group.
