How to Use KM to Create Latex Macros

How do I post a question?

My question is how to use KBM to create Latex macros.

For example, if I enter \ref{}, KBM doesn't like the . If I put a space after the , that is \ ref{}, then KBM will allow that but Latex doesn't.

Thanks,
Jay

See: Text Fields and the Tokens user manual section, especially the Processing section.

The \ means something to Keyboard Maestro as well, so either turn off token processing in the gear menu of the action, or double the \\ so that Keyboard Maestro replaces it with a single backslash.
