What technology was used to create the built in Tutorial (menu Help -> Tutorial)? It is fantastic.

Would love to know this aswell! Would be great if everybody could make this guides inside KM

The concept (but no code) is based on Apple Guide.

In my previous program (Anarchie/Interarchy), I had a fantastic extensive Apple Guide support (written by Quinn if I recall correctly), arguably one of the best examples of its use outside of Apple.

But as far as the technology, it is all hand-crafted.

You can use the Highlight Location action which uses similar display technology.
