It seems like Yosemite has a problem with some Template icons, and one result of this is the Keyboard Maestro status menu icon appears dimmed. Here is a non-Template version of the Iconoholic status menu icons that can be used in the mean time.

I just installed OS X 10.10 b3 and the problem seems to be gone.
Thanks for the heads up - I guess I can revert the icons and remove the code to force an update then!

Being afraid of loss of productivity I have not jumped to 10.10. Is it stable enough now,
Its working OK for me. But it does seem to have rough edges. I seem to be spending a lot of time in http://bugreporter.apple.com!
@Stephen: I find that OS X is working much better than iOS 8 at the moment. The new beta 3 seems to be stable enough, for me at least, and on two machines.
Iām having some issues too. The cutting / copying functions seem to be missing the text.
