Insert email recipients name into body of email

I'm using Mail on MacBook Pro macOS 10.15.2 and running Keyboard Maestro 9.0.4.

I want to automatically insert "Hi email recipients name" into the body of email when I either reply to an email or create a new email. If there are multiple recipients, I want to insert the first recipient.

I thought that using insert text by pasting and then inserting the token "%MailRecipients%" would work, but this does nothing.

Any suggestions on how to do this?
