Insert Text not Triggering

I am embarrased to post this, as it is such a simple problem. I have gone through all the usual routes to try and solve, and cannot get KM to trigger text insert (type or paste), I have reinstalled recently on a new mac, having used KM for many years no problem.

Other macros (e.g. app switch) are working fine.

Have uninstalled, reinstalled.

Deleted other potential conflicts (Afred, Karabiner), not sure if there are others that are know n to conflict.

Any assistance would be GREATLY appreciated.

Glad you solved it...for the benefit of others reading the forum in the future who might be having a similar problem, could you please post the solution to the problem?

Toggling the permission in the Privacy and Security > Accessibility did the trick.
