As here in Tweetbot there are some apps that have not (yet) integrated an iPhone import of recordings. My Mac is also 99 percent connected via Ethernet.
I have created a macro that activates the Wifi on an Ethernet connection, minimizes the app in the foreground (here Tweetbot) and then allows the import of the recording via the iPhone via the Finder context menu.
After this is saved on the desktop, the Wifi is deactivated again and Ethernet is activated.
If the Wifi is already activated, the macro starts the import of the recording immediately and keeps the Wifi status.
