Is it possible to change the system appearance theme from light to dark and vice versa via KM
Right!, thank you, I searched and could not find it, guess I didn't look hard enough.
Might there be a way to 'get' the current setting so I know whether to change it or not?

That same Action can be set to definitely set the System to either Dark or Light mode. So, if you know you want to be in say, Light mode just make a Macro to set to Light mode. If you are already in Light mode the Macro will do nothing.
