Is it possible to create a macro to navigate to a specific already existing browser tab?

For example, to create a macro which would open in Chrome my gmail URL
https://mail.google.com/mail/ca/u/0/#inbox
without opening a new tab each time (ie go back each time to the opened gmail tab)
