Is it possible to store the data Files for Variables and Cilpboards on Dropbox to sync them between Km installations?! Does anyone have any experience?!
Maybe do you have any advice, Peter (@peternlewis) ?!
I‘m doing this with Custom PlugIns for about 2 years now and it works without any Problems.
Since I‘ve recreated the original Location for those PlugIn Actions like this: [Dropbox_Folder]/Library/Application Support/Keyboard Maestro/Keyboard Maesto Actions/[Custom_PlugIn_Folder] by using Symlinks to the original Location.
I am wondering if it is possible to store the Clipboard Data File as well as the Variables Data File like in its original Location there as well using [Dropbox_Folder]/Library/Application Support/Keyboard Maestro/[Clipboard_Data_File] & [Dropbox_Folder]/Library/Application Support/Keyboard Maestro/[Variables_Data_File] by using Symlinks to the original Location?!
Up until now I’m using KM’s functionality in form of Macros to sync data between different devices over Dropbox in connection with Hazel and im searching for something to reduce this as far as possible.
I’m using LaunchAgents to keep every single and urgent Symlink intact by replacing every broken (if any) daily / when logging into my Mac, and Recreating every single one (of nearly 300) on my system once a month - also by using LaunchAgents.
It would be great if this might be possible.
