I thought I saw something awhile back about the delay for the 'Tapped Only xx' triggers.
(The delay between the taps- I'd like to make it fairly short sometimes)
I searched but couldn't find anything... erg... =)
I'd like to be able to control that delay if possible on certain macros and then put it back to a default.
I appreciate any input.
There's a preferences setting:
You can configure the timing of a “tap” (Hot Key and USB Device Key triggers) with:
defaults write com.stairways.keyboardmaestro.engine MaxTapDownTime -float 1.0
defaults write com.stairways.keyboardmaestro.engine MaxTapUpTime -float 1.0

thanx @tiffle , to be clear, if I set both of those to .5, and trigger a macro that has it's hot key set to ` is tapped only three times, you would think it would trigger quicker, correct?

ok, It didn't seem to be working, but then I quit the engine and app and relaunched and now it seems to be working...

You now know more about it than I do - but I do remember having to restart the KM engine for the change to take effect!
