Is there a way to disable, temporarily or permanently, keys such as space, z, x, c, and v?

I need these keys disabled for a specific application, but if I need to have them disabled in general that’s okay since I have a separate partition dedicated to that app. I’m using a Macbook Pro.

Sure, this is actually pretty easy. Make a new macro group just for the app in question, then make a macro in that group that uses all of those keys as hotkey triggers that does nothing:
