Just found about this little thing. What are your thoughts on it?

It’s the same JavaScript interpreter (JavaScriptCore – Safari JavaScript), but its execution environment doesn’t include the Automation library object of JavaScript for Automation.

(General automation has be done through ObjC library classes – a bit trickier – but it works well for the one or two apps it was built for)

JavaScript for Automation is easier to use for general app automation.
