Just wondering what's causing this - I've set KM to only do version checks when the editor is opened, but I'm still getting periodic attempts by the KM Engine to connect out to keyboardmeastro.com.

Is this normal, or is something wrong with my installation (ie not respecting the preference)?

You've set it to only notify you of updates when the Editor launches, which isn't the same thing.
