I can open a macro from my StreamDeck (i.e. opening Safari) but I cannot trigger events on my StreamDeck from KM. Any idea? Security settings? There is no setting for Streamdeck on my KM.
Have you tried installing/updating the Keyboard Maestro Stream Deck plugin-in (available on the Elgato Marketplace)?

You don't -- those permissions aren't needed or relevant.
Check your Stream Deck config. In the currently active profile, is the R2C2 button set to use the Keyboard Maestro plugin?
Yes, it is. I pressed the button and it was recognized by KM and setup in the USB device key field. And I can trigger safari, mail and system beep, etc. but not stream deck.
It seems as if there is only a one way communication.
My fault. I didn't know that you need another KM button on the corresponding SD button as well. Now it works.
Yes -- if you are triggering on R1C1 and setting an image on R2C2 you need the "Keyboard Maestro" automation on both. That caught me out the first time too!
